Five held for looting elderly woman

Nasib Kaur, a resident of Bella village of Barnala district, was awaiting her nephew in the bus stand last evening when the car-borne miscreants snatched Rs 4,000 cash and golden ear rings from her, they said.

After she raised an alarm, a police patrolling party chased the robbers and nabbed them, police said.

A case has been registered in this connection while the further probes are on, they added.
