Five killed, three injured in mishap

Five persons were killed and three injured today in an accident involving a car and a motorcycle near Vazhapadi, police said.
The car, carrying six passengers, collided with the two-wheeler and fell into an eight-feet deep ditch, they said.
The two motorcycle riders and three passengers in the car died on the spot while the injured have been admitted to the goverment hospital here.
