The bus met with the accident at Urleni area near the district headquarters of Gulmi, 600 km west of Kathmandu, they said.
Some 25 other passengers sustained injuries after the bus en route to Tamghas from Butwal skidded off the road at Bishwokarma Temple, according to the police.
Among the injured, seven people, who sustained serious injuries have been rushed to hospital for treatment.
