Flesh racket busted, 29 prostitutes arrested

Police carried out a raid in Ghasmandi area, said to a hub of flesh trade, and nabbed 29 prostitutes and two pimps, officials said.

Eight cases had been registered in this connection, they said.

Police sent some decoy customers to the area following complaints by the locals about the flesh trade.

"We will also take action against those house owners who have rented their homes to the prostitutes," the officials said.
