Flesh trade racket busted, 5 held in Punjab

A flesh trade racket was busted here with the arrest of five persons, including a woman, police said today.
Acting on a tip off, police last night raided a house and nabbed five persons, including a woman, for running a brothel, police said.
The accused have been identified as Kamal Kumar, Sachin, Rajan, and Pradeep Kumar, all local residents, while the woman hails from Tarn Taran district, they said.
Mobile phones and cash was also seized from their possession, they said.
A case under the provisions of Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered, police said, adding that investigation was underway.
