A MeT official said here that fog prevailed at many places in the two states including Chandigarh early today, reducing visibility levels.
Meanwhile, the Shatabdi Express train from New Delhi to Kalka via Chandigarh was today again delayed at the originating station due to fog in the national capital.
The train scheduled to depart at 7.40 AM has been rescheduled to leave the national capital for Chandigarh by about five hours.
