Acting on a tip-off, Suresh Barasa, who was travelling from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur in a car was intercepted near Mandala chowki on National Highway 114 last night, ASP Satyendra Pal Singh said.
During checking, foreign currencies comprising USD 11,284, 330 Australian dollar, 300 Canadian dollar, Euro 12,070 and 185 Sterling Pound were found in a polythene bag in the specially altered AC vents of the car, the officer said.
