Forest dept captures tiger which enters village

A tiger which had strayed into a village in South 24 Parganas district was captured by Forest department officials.
The tiger entered the Kumurmari village in Gosaba area after crossing the Korankhani river last evening. Spotting the tiger the villagers immediately informed the Forest department office.
A team of Forest department officlas went to the village and tranquilised the tiger and then put it into a cage last night, Forest department officials said today.
