The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Karpate, 45, a resident of Ridhora village in Yavatmal district.
According to police, Karpate had gone for dinner with his friend last night, where he consumed alcohol. After the meal they came to the bus stand to catch a vehicle for his village.
Meanwhile, Karpate went to the toilet. However, when he did not return for a long time, his friend went to enquire, but found him lying on the floor and also spotted that his nose was bleeding.
Police suspect that there could have been some poisonous content in the liquor he had consumed.
Further probe is on.
