Mishra furnished two bonds of Rs 10,000 each in a special CBI court before being released from judicial custody, his counsel P D Sharma said.
The high court had on Monday granted bail to Mishra who on March 19 surrendered to the special CBI court after being in a hospital on interim bail since his conviction in a fodder scam case on September 30, 2013.
Mishra was sentenced to four years rigorous imprisonment on October 3 that year in the RC20A/96 fodder scam case pertaining to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 37.7 crore from the Chaibasa Treasury in 1990s.
Mishra had on July 21 last year got a major relief when the high court quashed four other fodder cases against him as CrPC 300 states that a person convicted in one case could not be tried in similar cases based on the same witnesses and evidences.
