According to the prosecution, a body was recovered from the farmhouse of Jitendra Jaiswal alias Pappur Bhaiyya at Pipraich in 1994.
After hearing the arguments of both the sides and perusing the evidence on record, the court held Jaiswal guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
Jaiswal was a minister in the state cabinet during the BJP regime in the 1990s.
