Four arrested for illegally selling lottery tickets

The Pakur district police has arrested four persons for illegal sale of lottery tickets in Pakur district, police today said.
On the directive of newly appointed Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Pakur), Kaushal Kishore, the police launched the campaign and arrested four persons engaged in the illegal trade yesterday, Kishore said.
Kishore said though the state government has imposed ban on sale of lottery tickets in Jharkhand, the accused persons used to procure it from adjoining West Bengal and sell here for past sometime.
