killed and eight injured when their jeep collided with a truck in Odisha's Balasore district, police said today.
The jeep was on way back to Digha area of East Midnapore district from Mayurbhanj when the mishap took place on NH 60 near Barunagadia late last night, they said.
While two people died on the spot, two others succumbed to injuries early today at Balasore district headquarters hospital where all the injured have been admitted, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Jagabandhu Sing, Jagmohan Sing, Dinabandhu Sing and Lingaraj Sing, all aged between 25 and 30 years.
The driver and helper of the truck fled.
