Four drug peddlers arrested from Jammu

Four persons were arrested today on charges of drug peddling during a vehicle checking drive from near the Jammu Railway Station, police said.
The accused, who were travelling in a car, were arrested in a surprise vehicle checking drive near the railway station, they said, adding 2 kg of a "narcotic substance" was seized from them.
The composition of the seized substance is yet to be determined, police said.
All the four accused, residents of Kashmir Valley, have been booked under provisions of the NDPS Act, he said.
