The accused identified as Johil and Tohid, both natives of Mewat district, were arrested on October 10 during a raid in Rojka Mau area, police said.
The duo worked for Haroon, a resident of Mathura in Uttar Pradesh and the kingpin of the gang.
Haroon is an absconding culprit from police custody and is involved in cases of murder, kidnappings, loot and other crimes, they said.
"Ajay was coming from Vrindavan with his family in an Innova car and their car was intercepted by six to seven persons in a separate car. They held all members of the family hostage on gun point and took them to Mewat," he said.
A police complaint was made after the family member's cellphones were found switched off.
The police after registered a case of missing and during investigation tracked their location to Mewat region, the official said.
Johail and Tohid revealed during interrogation that they wanted to get easy money through the kidnapping and demanding a huge amount of ransom, he said.
A hut is on for Haroon and the other gang members, he added.
