Four held for IPL betting

Four persons were arrested for
allegedly accepting bets on an IPL match played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Hyderabad Sunrisers in a starred hotel near here, police said today.
The raid was conducted by Porvorim police last night when the IPL match was going on, a police spokesman said.
Police seized cash worth Rs 6.5 lakh, a detailed sheet giving the betting amount and several mobile phones from the accused who hailed from Lucknow.
They have been identified as Rishi Bhayana, Neeraj Gupta, Suresh Kumar and Pawan Kumar.
A case was registered against them under the Goa, Daman and Diu Prevention of Gambling Act.
