Four persons, including a girl, were killed in two separate accidents near here, police said Saturday.
Both the incidents happened on Friday, the police said.
A 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old man drowned at Serlui river near Aizawl on Friday evening, a police officer said.
Later, the bodies were fished out by volunteers, the officer said.
The men drowned while they were trying to swim across the river, the police officer added.
In another incident, a boy and a girl accidentally fell off a cliff at Durtlang near here on Friday night, the police officer said, adding, both of them died on the spot.
Their bodies were found 1,000 ft below the cliff and later recovered, the officer said.
