Officials said the deer after being chased by some stray dogs this morning, accidentally fell into the well which had no water.
On information, officials from Fire and Rescue Services and Forest departments rushed to the spot and rescued the male deer.
The deer, which did not suffer any injury, would be let into forests, they said.
