Fox Star Studios gets two film deal with CV Kumar

Fox Star Studios has entered into an alliance with film producer CV Kumar's Thirukumaran Entertainment for Tamil films "Mundasupatti" and "V Chitram".
Both the films will release in 2014.
Commenting on the partnership, C V Kumar added, "It is truly a dream come true for me. I work very hard on every film and it is good to work with a partner who has an international expertise in developing, marketing and distributing films."
Thirukumaran Entertainment has produced breakaway hits like "Attakathi", "Pizza" and "Soodhu Kavvum".
The production house made its debut in the Tamil film industry in 2010, a year before Fox Star Studios entered the industry in partnership with A R Murugadoss.

The Studio has two other projects -- "Raja Rani" slated for release later this year and "Cukkoo", that went on floors last month.
"We are focused on increasing our presence in the Tamil film industry, as we have done in the Hindi film industry. While we have extended our successful association in Tamil with A R Murugadoss to Hindi as well, we are also increasing our footprint in the Tamil industry by partnering with C V Kumar's Thirukumaran Entertainment," Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios said in a statement.
