The arrested have been identified as Nand Kishore (45), Tanvir Alam (43) and Deepak Pathak (53), DCP (Northwest) Vijay Singh said, adding that the gang used to target its victims with weapons.
The gang used to follow crowded buses, in which their own people were deployed. They were mostly active on the Ring Road stretch in northwest Delhi, he said.
The police also recovered one country made pistol and six live cartridges from their possession, Singh said.
The gang mainly looked for laptops and other valuable items. If people resisted, they used to pull out their guns, police added.
