The employee, identified as Ganga Ram, lived with his family in Nand Gram area of the district.
He was a Fourth Grade employee of the GDA, and worked as helper. On Monday morning, Ganga Ram was found unconscious outside his house.
"He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival. No injury mark was found on his body. The reason of his death could be known after a post-mortem," a police officer said, adding that police are interrogating his family members to find out if he had enmity with anyone.
