Ghaziabad schools: Classes up to 8 closed till Jan 19

In view of the cold conditions prevailing in the district, the administration here today announced holidays till January 19 for students up to Class 8 in all government and private schools.
The classes will reopen on January 20.
According to the district administration, the step has been taken owing to cold conditions.
"District administration has announced holidays for students up to Class 8 while students from Class 9 to Class 12 will have to attend school," an official of the district administration said, adding that the direction holds for both private and government schools across the district.
If any school is found violating the directive, strict action would be taken against it's administration, the official added.
