Paramount Pictures is planning a spin-off based on the G I Joe character Snake Eyes.
The studio is in negotiations with "Beauty and the Beast" scribe Evan Spiliotopoulos to pen the script of the potential film.
The project, tentatively titled "Snake Eyes", will be produced by Brian Goldner, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The ninja character, which dressed in all black, never revealed his face and never spoke, was portrayed by actor Ray Park in the 2009 film "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" and the 2013 sequel "G.I. Joe: Retaliation".
