This is an exemplary achievement earned by the solar power plant within three years from the commencement of operation, the company said in a statement.
The certificates were issued by DNV GL, which is an internationally renowned certification body, headquartered in Norway after carrying rigorous audits. The certification will remain valid for three years i.E. Till 21st June 2018, it said.
GMR Energy President Aniruddha Ganguly said, "This certification gives strong assurance to existing and prospective lenders and strategic partners of GMR Renewable Energy business about our excellence in project development, and operation and maintenance processes and practices in solar power projects."
GMR Energy set up the solar power plant in March, 2012 at Charanka, Patan district in Gujarat with an investment of Rs 364 crore. The solar power plant uses crystalline solar photo-voltaic modules.
