GMR Holdings pledges 16.8 crore shares

Diversified group GMR Infrastructure's key promoter GMR Holdings has pledged 16.8 crore shares or about 3.85 per cent stake in the company.
These shares, pledged on March 30, are worth over Rs 264.6 crore, based on the scrip's closing price of Rs 15.75 yesterday.
In a regulatory filing, GMR Infrastructure said these shares have been pledged with ECL Finance Ltd.
Post the pledging of these shares, GMR Holdings' total stake that is encumbered is little over 56 per cent.
