"Wagh is admitted since last night in the hospital due to a cardiac problem. A team of doctors is attending on him. He is under observation right now," Dr Sunanda Amonkar, Medical Superintendent, GMCH told PTI.
The journalist-turned-BJP leaderrepresenting St Andre constituency was attending an Independence Day event at Kala Academy here last evening when he complained of chest pain.
He was immediately rushed to the GMCH.
Wagh had suffered a cardiac arrest on May 15 this year when he was attending a public function to celebrate birthday of BJP functionary Anil Hoble. He has undergone angioplasty and had recovered since then.
