The commission has released the detailed schedule for the polls, which would be formally notified tomorrow.
As per the schedule, elections for all the 50 constituencies of ZPs would be held on March 18.
This is for the first time that that political parties have been allowed to field their candidates. Party symbols would be used for the first time in these elections.
The five-year-long tenure of both-- North and South Goa ZPs is culminating in March this year.
The commission will display the voters' list on February 24-27. The nominations will be accepted from February 28 to March 4.
The scrutiny of the applications would be held on March 5, while the last date for the withdrawal is March 7.
