Gogoi criticises centre for suspending NEIPP, stopping ration

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today came down heavily on the centre for suspending North East Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (NEIIPP), slashing development funds and stopping ration to tea workers.
"Suspending NEIIPP, slashing development funds, stopping ration to tea workers, how is the Centre going to achieve Sabka Saath Sabka Vikash?," Gogoi tweeted today.
Assam Industry and Commerce Minister Pradyut Bordoloi had yesterday claimed that the Centre has suspended registration of all new schemes under the (NEIIPP) with effect from December 1 and slashed development funds to the region.
He had also claimed that the centre has decided to stop supply of subsidised foodgrains for tea garden workers through the Food Corporation of India.
