Gold weighing over 700 grams and valued at more than 25 lakh were seized in two separate cases at the airport here, customs sources said Monday.
In the first case, gold weighing 574.70 grams and valued at over Rs 19 lakh was seized from a passenger who arrived here by a flight from Abu Dhabi.
The gold was concealed in juicer, bluetooth speaker, watch dial and as a bangle, they said.
All were silver coated.
Separately, a case of smuggling of gold was registered against a woman passenger, said to be a Sudanese national, the sources said.
The passenger, who arrived by a flight from Dubai via Kuwait, allegedly concealed the gold in undergarments.
The gold weighing 193.7 gm and valued at Rs 6, 58,580, was seized, the sources added.
