An office superintendent of the tribal development project at Taloda in Nandurbar district was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while accepting a Rs 5,000 bribe from a complainant, the ACB announced here today.
Allegedly, he demanded a bribe from the complainant who worked as a cook at Hatjoi ashram school for issuing him a relieving order so that he could join the Chalisgaon civil court in Jalgaon district as a junior clerk, an ACB release said.
After a complaint was lodged, the ACB laid a trap and caught the superintendent red-handed while accepting the bribe this afternoon in his office, the ACB release stated.
