"By suspending only @JKNC_ members in both houses the Govt has betrayed it's true intentions - to divide the ranks of a united opposition," Omar wrote on Twitter.
Omar, the NC working president, also claimed that Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had confessed to his colleagues his "unease at seeing the opposition close ranks" over the last two days of the current season of the legislature.
Referring to the suspension of two members from NC in the Legislative Council, Omar said it was part of the "dictatorial policies" of the coalition.
"Two @JKNC_ members suspended in the Leg. (legislative) Council. The dictatorial practices of the PDP/BJP combine continue," he said.
Members of NC and Congress created a ruckus in both houses of the legislature for the second consecutive day today demanding adjournment of question hour to discuss issues like Article 35A and ration distribution.
Similar action was taken in the upper house by the chairman by suspending two NC MLCs - Ali Mohammad Dar and Showkat Ganai - for the rest of the session.
The suspension of its members prompted NC to announce boycott of the rest of the eight-day autumn session.
