Gram, kabli gram rise in mixed trend

In a mixed pattern of trading, prices of gram and kabli gram firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on fresh buying by stockists following uptick in demand from retailers.
However, arhar and masoor drifted due to lack of buying support against adequate stocks position.
Traders said stockists buying following pick-up in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing belts mainly attributed the rise in gram and kabli gram prices.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 10,100-10,600, Rs 10,900-11,200 and Rs 11,300-11,400 per quintal, respectively.
Kabli gram small variety followed suit and traded higher a similar margin to Rs 10,100-10,500 per quintal.
Besan Shaktibhog and Rajdhani quoted higher at Rs 4,900 each instead of Rs 4,860 each per 35 kg bag.
On the other hand, arhar and its dal dara variety fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,700 and Rs 8,600-10,400 per quintal, respectively.
Masoor small and bold shed Rs 100 each at Rs 5,400-5,600 and Rs 5,450-5,650 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 5,850-6,350 and Rs 5,950-6,450 per quintal.

Urad Rs 7,450-9,050, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 7,900-8,000, Urad best Rs 8,000-8,500, Dhoya Rs 8,400-8,700, Moong Rs 5,400-6,000, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,900-6,200, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,500-7,000 and best quality Rs 7,000-7,200.
Masoor small Rs 5,400-5,600, bold Rs 5,450-5,650, Dal Masoor local Rs 5,850-6,350, best quality Rs 5,950-6,450, Malka local Rs 6,400-6,900, best Rs 6,500-7,000, Moth Rs 4,200-4,500, Arhar Rs 6,700, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 8,600-10,400.
Gram Rs 10,100-10,600, Gram dal (local) Rs 10,900-11,200, best quality Rs 11,300-11,400, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 4,900, Rajdhani Rs 4,900, Rajma Chitra Rs 6,000-8,800, Kabuli Gram small Rs 10,100-10,500, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,400-5,600, Peas white Rs 2,950-2,975 and green Rs 3,200-3,300.
