The Indra Kumar-directed project will be the third film in the "Masti" franchise. The second installment "Grand Masti" tasted huge success at the box office in 2013.
Riteish took to twitter to announce the news alongside a picture of Vivek and Aftab.
"..#GreatGrandMasti begins- @AftabShivdasani @vivek_oberoi Masti Boys are back," Riteish tweeted.
"Great Grand Masti" is being produced by Ashok Thakeria along with Balaji Motion Pictures.
The movie is eying a November release.
