GTA team meets Guv, demands immediate transfer of power

A team of Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) has met Governor M K Narayanan here and demanded immediate transfer of all power as agreed to it.
The 8-member GTA team, led by its chief Bimal Gurung who met Narayanan last evening, also demanded inclusion of 396 Terai Dooars Mouzas in the GTA, withdrawal of all court cases against GJM workers and fund from the Centre.
Gurung told reporters yesterday that the governor had assured them that he would forward the demands to the state and union governments for early decision.
