At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, guarseed 10 mt delivery for delivery in October month spurted by Rs 66, or 1.83 per cent to Rs 3,669 per quintal, clocking an open interest 76,380 lots.
On similar lines, delivery in far-month November contracts was trading higher by Rs 61, or 1.68 per cent to Rs 3,688 per quintal, with an open interest of 26,740 lots.
Marketmen said speculative positions created by participant s, driven by a firm trend at the domestic markets amid positive overseas mainly influenced guarseed prices at futures trade here.
