"The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) bus station has been constructed under a public-private partnership at the cost of Rs 110 crore," Rupani said after visiting a bus station in the city.
It was inaugurated by then Gujarat Chief Minister and incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February earlier this year, he said.
"It was a dream of the then Gujarat Chief Minister and now Prime Minister Narendra Modi to construct world class bus stations in Gujarat. Construction of more world class bus stations are being planned across the state," Rupani said.
The new bus terminal in Vadodara is spread over 2,039 square metres and has a supermarket, shopping mall, multiplex, restaurant, food court, commercial offices and a budget hotel within its premises.
