The five-member delegation of Bhartiya Gujjar Mahasabha led by its state unit president by Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal met the Governor at Raj Bhavan here and presented their demands before him, an official spokesman said.
The demands included provision of political reservation for the Gujjar and Bakkerwal tribes in the state, organising of special recruitment drives for youth of the communities in Army and para-military forces and effective utilisation of funds available under Tribal Sub-Plan, the spokesman said.
The delegation also felicitated the Governor on his re-appointment for the second term, he said.
