"The woman exhibited exemplary courage in standing up against illicit trade in liquor," Gupta said and urged Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to reward her suitably for her act.
Gupta also asked the Delhi Police commissioner to take exemplary action against the culprits so that such an incident was not repeated in future.
Six women have been arrested for allegedly beating and tearing the clothes of the woman who helped the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) and police bust an illicit liquor racket.
