Gur prices close steady on muted activities

Lethargic conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today with prices by and large after moving in restricted range due to thin trade, finally ended same on last levels.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled quiet for want of necessary support.

Marketmen said in the absence of buying support along with reduced arrivals managed to hold gur prices unaltered.
