Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also registered a rise of up to Rs 125 per quintal on scarcity of stocks.
Marketmen said deficient ready stocks on significant fall in arrivals from manufacturing belts due to adverse weather conditions amid speculative buying by stockists and retailers hoping further rise in prices, mainly pushed up the raw sweetener prices.
In Delhi, gur Chakku climbed the most by Rs 200 to settle at Rs 3,400-3,500, followed by gur Pedi and Dhayya by rising Rs 100 each to Rs 3,500-3,600 and Rs 3,600-3,700 per quintal.
Prices of gur Raskat also shot up by Rs 50 to wind up the day at Rs 2,650-2,700 per quintal on sturdy buying by beer makers.
Coming to Muradnagar, gur Dhayya prices hardened by Rs 125 to finish at Rs 3,225-3,250, while Pedi prices were higher by Rs 50 to Rs 3,075-3,175 per quintal.

Gur chakku Rs 3,400-3,500, pedi Rs 3,500-3,600, dhayya Rs 3,600-3,700 and shakkar Rs 3,700-3,800.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,075-3,175 and dhayya Rs 3,225- 3,250.
