Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the government was willing to support the financially weak people from all the communities, and wants to provide equal opportunity to each and every person of the society.
"Reservation is a social issue, and the government has called for suggestions by all the political parties on the matter of reservation," Khattar told reporters here.
Speaking about bringing transparent system in appointments in government jobs, the chief minister said the government was totally committed to make the system transparent.
Police Amendment bill has been passed and now the appointments in police department would be done through Haryana Staff Selection Commission, he added.
Talking about reform agenda, Khattar said, an amendment has been made to the provision of collegiums in the societies act. Earlier, the collegiums were required for a society of 300 members, which has now been raised to 1000 members.
He also said on Monday some bills, including the one to make amendment in the Panchayat Raj Amendment bill to make basic qualification mandatory for a man to contest the panchayat elections, would be introduced in the Assembly.
This, he said, would enable better coordination of Panchayat with the local administration.
