In the letter, Yadav has said that while travelling on these two National Highways he has observed that the work of widening and strengthening these highways, including construction of over bridges, has either come to a halt or is moving at a very slow pace.
These two highways being very important are always flooded with high speed traffic, the state Power Minister said.
The delay in their widening and strengthening is resulting into frequent traffic jams and inconvenience to highway users.
He, therefore, urged the Union Minister to look into the matter and direct the concerned quarters to expeditiously complete the work.
