Hardcore NDFB(S) militant nabbed
The militant was arrested from Mugachang area under Biswanath Chariali police station, Superintendent of Police Biswanath Chariali Manabendra Devroy said.
The militant, identified as Dorjoi Goyari alias Doctor, was allegedly involved in providing medical facilities to the militant outfit and Rs 50,000 in cash was recovered from his possession.
He was supposed to hand over the cash to another militant when he was caught.
Massive search operation was on along the Assam- Arunachal Pradesh border in Sonitpur district to nab NDFB(S) militants following the killing of 47 adivasis by the outfit in the district.
