The victim Rajesh Bhatia lost his consciousness on Friday night and woke up on Sunday morning, on a roadside in Andheri, after which he approached the police, they said.
The Amboli police registered an FIR and are looking for the trio.
According to the police, Bhatia who often travels to Mumbai for business purposes, arrived here on April 28 and checked in a hotel in suburban Andheri. To spend his leisure time, he went to a posh pub in suburban Andheri West on Friday night.
The police said the trio then escaped with his valuables, his two cell phones and Rs 60,000 in cash collectively valued at Rs 2.5 lakh.
