Haryana Congress received a jolt today when a former Haryana minister and Arya samaj leader quit the party.
Hari Singh Saini announced his decision to resign from the party while addressing media persons at his resident here.
Saini alleged that Congressmen were being ignored and opportunists and corrupt persons had been ruling the party.
He said a meeting of his supporters will be held soon and decide the future action plan, adding that he would contest the Vidhan Sabha election from Barwala constituency in Hisar district.
Saini said that he had joined the Congress for the development of work in district, but chief minister and other party leaders failed to solve the problems of people of Hisar.
