A senior official of Haryana Police said that they are likely to use drone cameras to keep an eye on agitations where one apprehends violence.
"The cameras will keep an eye and capture the actual scene and anybody indulging in violence or behind it can be identified," he said.
He said that policemen are being trained to use drones, specially-designed slingshots, which can also used to throw small packets of chilli-bags to control crowd while keeping safety of those taking part in the protests in mind.
The police today held a mock drill in New Police Lines here in which drone experts explained details about how to use the gadget.
The policemen were also given training in use of chilli bags, slingshots (gulel), tear gas, water canon etc to be used against mobs.
