The Court's Lucknow bench said that the petitioner may approach the concerned authorities of central and state governments for their grievance by way of representation.
A division bench of justices Shree Narain Shukla and Akhtar Husain Khan passed the order on a PIL filed by a local lawyer M L Yadav.
The petitioner alleged that the price of onion reached Rs 60 per Kg and Arhar Dal(pulse) Rs 150 a Kg in Uttar Pradesh, which is beyond the reach of the poor people. Hence, this price hike should be controlled.
