Headmaster, PSI arrested for taking bribe in AP

The Headmaster of a school and a police sub-inspector were arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials in two different bribery cases in Andhra Pradesh.
Madala Bujjaiah, Head Master of the Zilla Parishad High school for boys at Vinjamur in Nellore district was caught by the ACB while accepting bribe of Rs 6,500 from a complainant for certifying the attendance of a B.Ed student, officials said.
In an another incident, P Krishna Murthy, a Sub-Inspector of Police attached to Kodair police station was caught red-handed by the ACB officials at the police station itself when he accepted Rs 10,000 as bribe from the complainant for not arresting him and his family members in a dowry case, the official said.
