Himachal to bring in policy on mobile towers

In view of the possible health threats due to emissions from mobile towers, the Himachal Pradesh government is planning to introduce a dedicated policy for their installation across the state.
Till now, there was no such policy in the state.
"The state had no policy to regulate setting up of mobile towers in urban areas. A rational policy was the need of the hour," Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said here today.
