Hindu Mahasabha workers arrested

The City Police today arrested four members of the Hindu Mahasabha for organising a counter demonstration to the Dravidar Kazhagam's "Mangalsutra" removal programme here today, police said.
The Mahasabha workers enacted the symbolic "funeral rites" for the husbands whose wives removed the mangalyasutra during the Dravidar Kazhagam's programme.
They were arrested for organising the programme without taking police permission.
